This page describes what First Choice Tile LLC ("we") collects through fctilega.com, why we collect it, and who processes it on our behalf. It covers this website only. If you would rather ask a person, write to contact@fctilega.com.
What you give us directly
The estimate form asks for your name, email, phone number, the service you want, a description of the project, and optionally a preferred date and time and photos of the space. It is sent with basic attribution: the page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on including its query string, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. The newsletter form takes an email address; the articles we then send carry a tracking pixel and links that pass through our own redirect, so we can see which issues are opened and read. The review form takes your name, email, a star rating, your review and an optional photo, and emails you a verification code before the review is published. If you use the chat assistant, you may optionally give a name, email and phone so we can follow up; the conversation is stored so you can come back to it.
What is collected automatically
Google Analytics 4 loads for every visitor, but what it may keep depends on your answer to the cookie banner. Until you accept, analytics storage is denied and it sends cookieless pings: the visit is counted, no identifiers are kept on your device, IP addresses are anonymised and ad-data redaction is on. Accepting lets it set its own cookies. Separately, and regardless of consent, our server records the IP address of chat requests for a short time so the assistant can be rate-limited against abuse.
Why we collect it
To answer you and to quote the work. An estimate cannot be prepared without knowing the room, the material, and where the property is, and it cannot be sent back without a way to reach you. Analytics is used to see which pages actually help people and which do not. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Who processes it for us
Supabase hosts our database, file storage and the server functions that receive form submissions. Resend delivers the resulting email to our inbox. Google reCAPTCHA screens the three public forms for automated spam, and Google Analytics 4 provides the analytics described above. The chat assistant's replies are generated by Google's Gemini API, which means the messages you type there, and any contact details you gave it, are sent to Google. Mapbox renders the coverage map on the home page. Each of these sees only what its job requires, and each has its own privacy terms.
What is stored in your browser
Your cookie choice (cookieConsent), your language (language), your theme (theme), how you first reached the site (fct_attribution_first) and how you reached it this visit (fct_attribution_last), and, if you open the chat assistant, its position and size, your last conversation reference and any name, email or phone you gave it. These live in your browser's storage, not on our servers, and clearing your site data removes them. Google Analytics sets its own cookies only after you accept.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests, chat transcripts, and newsletter subscriptions are kept until you ask us to remove them; nothing on this site is deleted on an automatic schedule today. Analytics data is retained under Google's own retention settings. If that answer is not good enough for you, ask us to delete your record and we will.
Your choices
You can decline analytics in the banner, or change your mind later by clearing this site's data and choosing again. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter from any email it sends. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email contact@fctilega.com or call (404) 747-8242 and say so; we do not require a form for this.
Children
This site is for people arranging construction work on a property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made quietly.
